Pi grows
The end of the row of pi numbers has yet to be seen.
To date more than one trillion (!) decimal places have been determined, and there is no end in sight. Even a billion decimal places in normal font size would stretch to over 2000 kilometers. „Pi is as complex as life itself,“ Bilian Proffen says and continues: „The search for pi is full of history, drama, humor and tragedy – and is especially the product of an almost unnatural obsession with detail. We stand before the question: How much detail do we need to finally discover the secret of this number?“

The course
From the 314th decimal place onward the number is to grow according to its own transcendence – maybe even around the world!
Via GPS one can then later reconstruct where the individual plaques have been placed.
Symbols
The row of numbers may be complemented by symbols, logos or mathematical equations. Only the material used limits the possible format.
These plaques lie in front of the sponsors´ homes or businesses.
